Anyone except actual criminals.
If that was me, I would just laugh at the cop. Keep the ticket for my souvenier book.

Fairfax Co. traffic enforcement is nothing less than a power trip on a good day and a shake down on a bad day. I get mad just looking at the Ministry of Truth building complex on Chain Bridge Rd. They are the enemy!

Amen. They should print "Dept of Revenue" on the side of the police cruisers. That would at least be somewhat honest.

What has me baffled is how did an article about Fairfax county wind up on the web page for an Alabama TV station ????????

Default speed vs. slow

This past pregnancy was kinda rough: we had a relvolving door w/Shady Grove Hopsital -we always called ahead (dr. on duty, who called the hospital), and when we got there, they just ushered us upstairs to L and D! Well, where it was safe, i was always doing 90+, thinking if i got stopped, the officer would just shuttle my wife the rest of the way....but that guy was following procedure so he wouldnt have embryonic fluid to clean out of his car!?!? I mean, they were trying to get out of a traffic jam, so why add to the mess to squeeze an ambulance thru stopped cars? Too bad it's probably a liability issue that caused these procedures to become commonplace. And officer's usually make statements, but don't back them up with the "why's". I'm not saying he wasnt an A-hole, but can't say why such a dum thing exists.

Not to get off topic, but what gets me about Fairfax County revenue support efforts is wondering how much goes to that ridiculously opulent Government building, with its marble and airy ceilings. Happy to pay for that yeah right.
