Default Any Low Smoke 2-stroke oil suggestions

I got another old 2-stroke Ducati and wondered if the brain trust here has suggestions on lower smoke oils to use.

Being an older bike it takes between 16:1 and 20:1 mix (i.e. lots of oil compared to modern 2-strokes). Actually the manual states it as 5-6%

Also, would a full synthetic allow for more lubrication so I can run a less oil in the mix?

Thanks for suggestions.

Gone but not forgotten:
'02 S6 Avant - trans blew, but rebuilt as a 6-speed by new owner
'99.5 A4 2.8QT - tree fell on it after 20 years
‘74 MB 280C - traded for paint/rust repair/6-conversion mods on the 914

You can run less % with modern synthetic oils. Typ go w/ what is recommended on the oil and not in the old manual. Something like Redline you'd likely use 50:1 or less. Stihl makes a good low ash that burns fairly completely. Many of the high-perf air-cooled RC engine guys use it. I'm in the Redline camp (for both RC and the dirtbikes).

Be aware there are high and low flashpoint 2-stroke oils. The low flashpoint will burn fairly completely. Better for average trail riding, trials bikes, etc. If you are riding motocross w/ the throttle pinned most of the time, a high flashpoint oil is better but it won't burn off if you aren't riding like a maniac.
