OK, there has been some interest in a combined space at Hershey, so I'm going to try and organize this is there is enough interest. He're the plan:

Since my 911 is "under renovation" at the moment, I plan to drive my Honda Odyssey up there, sans middle seats. This gives me 4' x 8' x 4' of cargo room to bring back stuff. I'll get the space, get there early and park the van in the space. I'll also bring some chairs and coolers of drinks, including the hops flavored variety.

Of course, even if you don't want to contrubute, you can still stop by and hang out. But no beer or selling for you, you cheap bastard.

Anyone interested? Let me know ASAP, so I can get the space.

Chris, maybe we can combine my space with the one you are organizing if you end up reserving one. You can park your van at our space, I will have the dark brews and some chairs.

I just spoke with a buddy of mine and he said he is bringing some chairs up. He also said all dorki's are welcome if anyone wants to come relax and hang out at our space. I am also bringing chairs, so accomodations should be taken care of.

Hey Pari - I didn't want to impose on your buddy's space, since I wasn't sure if he had a lot to sell, was buying a lot, or even wanted to be surrounded all day by the likes that frequent this board (present company included ). Let's see who is interested and you & I can work out the logistics.

So, if anyone is interested, let me know if you're contributing and how much.

Impose?? Dude, you are getting too formal with me . Nah, my friend is cool, a Porsche purist and enthusiast. In fact he was the first person who ever gave me a ride in a 911 back in high school, and he taught me how to drive mine! MY space can be used by any dorkiphus members who wish to rest their feet, drop off anything that they just bought and don't feel like lugging back to their car, or if anyone just wants to have a place to sit down eat and throw down a couple cold ones. Again, any dorki is welcome, mi casa es su casa.

OK, I just talked to Pari. He and a buddy have rented two ajoining spaces at Hershey and have offered to let us use them as home base - a place to sit, hang out, drop off parts while looking for more, and sell a few items.

So we have a place, we just need contributions to the beverage fund (water, soda, beer - lets say $6/person) and the space fund (say $5 for a few items - that sound OK Pari?). I'll take care of getting the beverages.

Yeah, if someone has a few small things they want to get rid of they can. There is no point in charging people money to display the items if they don't sell, so something can be decided upon there. It's not that big of a deal.
