I'm sure somebody must know....
Are there any local junk yards where you can go and pick you own parts? I need a couple small things for my daily driver and hope I can find them there. I want to pick them myself to ensure I get the screws, and clips and what not. Thanks as usual! Steve

There's one in Triangle, about 1 mile from I-95, but I can't remember the name. I think they're computerized, so you can ask if they have what you need before hiking down there. I got a tail lamp assembly for my old BMW.

Try Brandywine in Southern Maryland. They have helped me in the past.

NO, there are no good recyclers in our area! Stay away from Brandywine! They’re exclusively mine! They don’t have any (more) $50 7x16” Fuchs, they don’t have anymore $100 fenders, or $150 doors… THEY”RE all mine… stay away… stay away I say… I’m going now & count my wheels…again

If you want a little adventure try Crazy Ray's off Rt 1 in Jessup MD. You pay a buck to get in and then take whatever you want. Cars come and go everyday so you have to be lucky with what you want. I saw a 911 there once last summer, no engine, rusted to bits. A couple years ago I was buying honda gauge clusters there and selling them on ebay, an easy ~$50 each. There is always something there I 'need'.
