Default Finally, a 911 in my garage

Well, the search is over. I didn't get a 964 or a 993 but I did get a wide body. I thought for sure I wanted a G50, but this car spoke to me more than the other ones I drove. I now understand what people were talking about when discussing the way a 915 slots into gear.

It's a '79 SC with an '80 SC-L 3.1L engine. It has a recent turbo addition, and conversion to microsquirt with coil on plugs. I'm debating removing the turbo, but I won't lie, it is kinda fun. It dynoed at 400hp. It's in definite need of a professional tune though. (Any recommendations?) And a muffler. It's running straight pipes now, which sound great, but might be a hair too loud.

It's got some scratches on the front bumper, and a little rust that hasn't budged in years on the hood near the cowl, but otherwise is in good shape for an almost 40 year old car. Original color was light blue metallic, and if I ever paint it, I'd be hard pressed on whether to keep the yellow or go with the blue. I'm also debating on keeping the strakes or not. I actually like the scratches because I'm less concerned with driving it and can drive it everywhere, which I've been doing since I got it.

You might see it at the track next year once I add some safety equipment. Until then, anyone want to go for a cruise?

Nice! 400 hp Yes, I imagine that is fun, but for how long? Definitely would like to see your car at a tech session to give a good going over.

Drive it out to the club race so folks can have a look see.

Cool car, what kind of heat exchangers/headers does it have? Are they 930 parts?
If so, my brother ChaosRogue has a couple extra 930 aftermarket mufflers that are louder than stock but not open-loud.
