I'll take advantage of this as I switched over to the Valvoline max life for my BMW (205,xxx miles) several oil changes ago. Still running strong and not burning oil. Wish I could say the same re: '76 Targa. (with 162,xxx miles)

I think I am going to give this a shot in my 850 (184,xxx miles) now all I have to do is get the stripped oil plug out

Eric:

Ask Ted for the Snap-on easy out (set) he recently used. Or get similar one from sears. Is it an internal or external hex head? Tapered? (I would think not).
