Advice from "WinHPDE" - accurate?

I initially found this website when looking for track guides before going to a few new tracks. This site seemed to help on that angle. I just realized there are more sections to his website. The advice on driving technique and car prepp seem pretty decent, but I am not sure that I have the experience to really judge that. What do you guys think of his suggestions in general? Good for a novice to future intermediate driver?
