271,000 carrea worth?
I ran across a older Carrera that has been sitting for a 4 or 5 years. Full tread tires with cracks, return tube oil leak, runs fine. Re paint and interior ..... perfect.... but 271,000 miles. This car is a waxer...not driven hard. Anyone have experience owning or selling a car very high mileage.

Ive seen a few on Pelican with this sort of mileage. The key would be if there are any records to suggest a top end and other maintenance. Even with those miles its prob 22-25k.

I had a 79 SC with 328k miles on it before I sold it. Was well maintained and was rock solid, wish I hadn't sold it. Gave it away more than 10 years ago for 6k. IMO miles don't matter, I enjoy driving my cars.
