Is there a good, reasonable machineshop in the Alexandria area ? I am thinking of having the old front rotors done if they are not out of spec.

It’s generally held that Porsche rotors don’t get turned when worn but replaced. The difference between new & worn out is only a couple of millimeters & reducing the mass of the “heat sink” is not a good idea in a high performance car. If you still want to proceed RPM in Newington or Pit Stop Performance on Eisenhower Ave. can take care of you.

George:
I echo what David R. said. I would suggest that you get solid OEM rotors and if you need more cooling pick up a cool brake kit for around $250.00 +/-. There are several members on this board that can tell the tale of the Zimmerman cross-drilled rotor... Jason |
