Default Got a gremlin

Went to the post office the other day, came out, car stalled 2 times successively before the engine would stay lit. While it seemingly runs fine, "service engine soon" light appeared and stays on. Tried accessing Jazz's secret diagnostics, but didn't get anywhere. Trying to figure out devices that have electrons flowing through them is not my strongest skill set. Any help you can provide before I take it into the shop would be much appreciated!

Does it run well enough to get it to Germantown? I'm happy to hook my BavTech cable up and see if it can shed any light on what's going on.

One sure way to find out. My AAA premium tow card is in my wallet, I'm ready to go.

Back when I was a pimply faced kid, I actually lusted one of those. Well, maybe not lusted, but between a Vega, Pinto, or Gremlin, the Gremlin was my choice. Ended up with both a Pinto and Vega.

Getting there is one thing, not getting stuck in Jazz's garage is another.

Good luck

As someone that has 2 e46s, but yourself a code reader and follow the following steps:

1. Use code reader
2. go to e46fanatics and do a search
3. repeat as necessary

Just a guess - Sounds like your looking at P0171 and P0174 - e46s love these.

My dad once made my sister cry by telling her he had purchased an eggshell white pacer with a white interior and and yolk yellow driver's seat for her to commute to college in.
