Default Winter/All-season Garage storage

Gentlemen,

After searching high and low, I have procured a 55x50 pole barn space with 20+ foot ceilings in Monkton, MD. The space is locked, secure, and remote. The driving to and from the farm practically demands that you drive in a spirited fashion in any sort of sports car. The barn has been used for the past decade to house vintage American collector cars but the elderly collector has scaled his fleet allowing me to take the majority of the space.

At the current time it is more space than I need.

I hope to install a lift and air compressor, the garage will have scales and string alignment tools.

If anyone is looking for winter storage or was looking for an offsite garage, contact me by PM.

I have a rallycross project and parts car for it that I'd be potentially interested in storing there

I returned the PM. Rallycross is a great series. Maybe I should build one of those myself.

they do allow for co-drivers and the parts car is a runner. I've toyed with swapping the 1.6L from the 323 into it after dropping the 1.8L DOHC BP motor into the 323.

I just bought a Made in USA 9000lbs lift for the space. There are two or three smaller lifts still available from the same seller, I will get details and post them here.

Send me a PM and maybe we can work it out. So far I appreciate the keen interest. Having like minded individuals helps in shared space.

I am bumping this thread to determine if there is interest in sharing space. I have the option to take the whole barn, 55x100. I have a Mohawk lift and air tools being installed over the winter. The barn offers roll through service for racing rigs but this is not trailer storage.

If there are guys with HPDE cars or race cars looking for a dry place to store their car, access to a lift for inspections, and a dry clean area to load and unload. I might have a good option for you. I will not expand my lease of the space for myself at the moment.

I am currently storing 5-6 cars at the barn and my open trailex trailer. Another Dorki has two cars stored there for a future rallycross project.

I am bumping this thread to see if any dorkis are friends with captdownshift aka David Z.

He has stored two cars at my barn since last year but he quit paying me in January. He is unresponsive to all forms of communication. If you know him, tell him to do the right thing and find a way to get his crap out of my space and pay me. If you don't know him, take this as feedback on him from a business perspective.
