Everyone at the Summit DE a couple weekends back saw my car wired for telemetry and A/V. It took me about 4 days of solid coding, but here's the result.

A short (17MB) sample, about half a lap. I lost some resolution in the translation, but the idea comes across. I have the full session (last of the weekend, blue group) in DV quality video.

This is really awesome! You should consider packaging and selling this as an offering to the racing set. For legal reasons, perhaps the DE crowd isnt the right official market, but this sort of information would be a great boon. Whats involved cost-wise in putting this together?

That's the idea. I'll have more info come the end of Sept. No coincidence: PCA club race and Zone 2 DE at SP.

As far as the ante you'll need a camcorder (either digital or a way to transfer analog to your computer) and a DL-90. The latter runs about $800.
