Default Need a new pair of rear tires

Newbie needs some advice....
My car has P-Zero tires. The front pair are in good shape but the rear ones need to have a new set. Should I stay with P-Zero or I can use some other brand for the rear. If yes then any recommendation ? Thanks.

Kevin,
If you need new rear tires, and you don't want to replace all four, stay with the P-Zeros. To be honest, I'm surprised that the rears are in that condition. Maybe you should ask Marc what he's been doing with your car while you're not home!
So, how do you like it? Curious minds really want to know. . .

Don,
Marc gave the P key to my 19 years old daughter when I was still on vacation and she had so much fun with it (just kidding). I just want to be prepared, the rear tires have more wear than the front ones. Also, I am thinking of 2 sets of tire, one for the track and one for the street. By the way, my wife and I were surprised about the cosmetic look of the car. I am impressed with the sound of its engine. You were right, it has power. I had so much fun driving it. Imagine if I had DE, then my fun will be tripple . Are you back in VA yet?

Kevin, I took months off my tires at the DE last week. If I had the storage space and/or a tow vehicle, I'd love a set of Hoosier slicks. But I just look at my totally shot rear Kumhos as a chance to get some wider ones until the fronts wear out, which means I'll then have to upgrade to 18" wheels. And I think you'll need a roll cage to do DE's, which means you might as well get racing seats with 5-pt. harnesses, a fire extinguisher...you get the idea. Welcome to the very slippery slope of Porsche ownership.

Kevin,
I trust you're happy with the car. . . I tried to trade my SC for it. I'm esconced in the dorm at Catholic U for the next four months. Looking forward to VIR in two weeks (at least I'll have a room that has a/c, unlike here). Cell # is the same, PM me, and we'll touch base.

Don
