Default $9 Torque Wrench

I got an e-mail about this today and I figured I would pass it along, $9 and a lifetime warranty seems hard to pass up.

There are several amongst us that are HF secret orderers....

Kurt and I (and others?) have the lightweight aluminum jack (37#) and I recently purchased a creeper and 135db air horns for my suburban (apparently the size and bulk of it aren't enough to preclude people from cutting in front any chance they get )

I had prompt delivery and goods were as promised. I am currently looking at the 19.2 V cordless impact gun (primarily b/c I want the 240 ft/lb of torque it provides... )

I got the HF cordless impact driver from Mom & Dad for X-mas. Best gift they've ever given me. I use that thing all the time and it rocks!

They had an extra handling charge that was kind of annoying, but I picked up enough tools to make it worth the extra charge

I don't even look at the 5 cataloges a week I get from them. Once I open the cover, my garage needs a new shelf or peg board.

BTW the light weight jack is down to 159.00. Ooooops . . . . it was on the cover . . . . I swear

I bought my torque wrench from them at $19.99 last summer. At $9 that's a steal.

Just make sure you get your order above $50 (not including the $5.95 handling charge) and the shipping will be free.

I might have to break down and finally get that drill press for $49.99 ...

I have a lot of stuff from HFT. You have to be carefull as some of the stuff is pure junk and the prices on name brand stuff are bad. If you need something for the now and again type of duty there are some things worth the savings. The light weight jack is well worth the $ as is the 115 TiN coated drill bit set when on sale.

I have a bunch of little stuff and the 20 ton shop press on the way.

BTW speaking of Deals. Cosco has a VERY NICE stainless steel 2 part tool chest for around $650. Lots of roller bearing drawers with padding. Good casters on the bottom case and well made throughout. I am talking SnapOn good. One of lesser size quality and just paint not stainless at Sears was $1200.00 I was wandering through cosco and when happened upon the tool box. I stopped and stared. "Wooo" is what I think I said out loud. Out came the wallet and into the truck it went. Looks good in the new shop. I was talking to one of the guys at cosco and he said they always disapear soon after being stocked.

The lift is open this weekend coming up if a fellow NoVA is in need.

Sunday is fine. I have the grill but you will have to bring your own nasty brew that you like. A CV replacement is about 30 min to 5 hours depending on the bolts desire to play along and free up. Anyone else? I will also post in the proper fourm as well.
