Default NASA DE at SP June 21-22

Anyone else going? I'll be there with my '72. Car will be #901 and I'll be in the #3 group (red). Lots of stuff to watch this weekend since the DE is mixed in with races.

If the weather holds on Sunday I might take a run out with my oldest son (ie., good excuse to put some miles on the 911 since she hasn't been driven in a few weeks).

If we make it out there I'll come find you.

Other than my car (if I'm out on the track), the easy way to identify my paddock area will be by my truck (or whatever you wanna call it). Maroon Jeep Cherokee with a trailex open trailer.

Too bad other people don't run their Porsches with NASA. Its really a great group to learn with -- they're very easy going and fun. You're also surrounded by a bunch of people that are competing (the DE sessions are run in between practice, qualifying, and race sessions). So there's quite a bit to learn while you're not driving.

Hmmmmm might be tempting, however the cost is 130.00 more than a Potomac sponsered event.

Are the run groups as large as 15 cars per track mile?? (30 cars for SP).

I don't know how many cars they allow, but in group 3 (their red run group), I didn't encounter any trains. I'll get a count this weekend...its supposed to be an event that's booked solid.

I spent $325 including the 1 year registration. There was plenty of space...I registered for this event in May. Does PCA Potomac still have a lottery system because they're so full?
