Does anyone out there know of a competent machine shop in the area? I am possibly looking to do the BMW 3xx front end brake conversion on the 914, and need to have some light work done.
Thanks, ~Eric

My favorite BMW shop is Eurobahn in Manassas. They're more into sales now than service, but JB and David there know their stuff very well, know Porsches and are very straight. Dulles Int'l Motorsport is probably a good choice, but maybe pricey. Or try RPM in Newington. Stan is the man.

I think you can also find kits on the 914club.com/PP classifieds where the machining is already done (probably more expensive, but might be worth it in the long run).
The post is old, but might be worth checking out: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...t=bmw+calipers |
