Default One of the nicest 45 BMWs EVER

Not sure about the knobblies and would prolly add at a minimum the standard BMW crash bars but otherwise I want it!

It is with a few mods. There is a new RE dealer in Silver Spring down the street from Radial Tire.

^ really? The only thing I see are polished cases and the nifty chrome springs on the rear shocks. Neither would be desirable with the map desert paint...

That's what I like about the RE its really subtle, the pipe is powder coated and cat delete, turn signals, mirrors and head light are normally chrome. I like the black trim goes well with the desert paint.

I really like the BMW it's minimal, nothing but the stuff necessary to make it go, looks like fun. Nancy would kill me if I added another bike but a soft adventure bike looks like fun.

Ok, now I see the differences. I guess it's been to long since I'd checked them out.

Love that BMW -- wow. I've always wanted to ride an old one; maybe someday.

Was at C&C in Great Falls a few weeks back and a fellow showed up with a Norton with a sidecar. Don't see that every day.
