Default Best 996 bodyshop

My 996 ended up in a ditch after swerving to avoid hitting a deer. Not sure if it is going to be totaled. but have Hagerty ins. right radiator popped, hood, front rt fender etc. Really like the car. Who would you all recommend who knows and works on these cars? I am in Anne Arundel county, Md. If it gets totaled, I may want to look for another 996. I like the 1999 2S. My motor has 15k on it. P replacement.
Thanks,

Mike

If its a loss, with your new-ish engine, it might be worth your while to buy it back from the insurance company and buy a 996 with a blown motor and do the swap.

Alternately, plenty of good 996 bargains out there.

No personal experience with bodywork locations in your area, but lots of threads on here about various places

Like Lane states above "No personal experience with bodywork locations in your area". However, it may be worth it to put it on the truck and haul it to EuroPros in Gaithersburg.. I'd venture to say that they have more experience with the 996 model than anyone else area.

Good luck!

Europros did the same to mine except it was the left fender. I was very happy with the work.

Mike

Have used Severn Autobody in Annapolis before. They did great work and frequently have MBs, BMWs and P-cars in the shop. Have actually used them three times now (but only once with the Boxster)

Another vote for Europros. Just dropped off my gt2 rep bumper that they are going to be prepping, painting and installing on my 996TT. They previously repainted the rear bumper and the painted the bumper on my CTS-V. They do phenomenal work.

I use Autobody Dimensions in Gaithersburg for all my needs. I'm good friends with the owner Charlie. They were the only shop that could mix the right color match for my old Slate Blue Met when I was upgrading to the 964 Turbo look.

They also do all the work for Tony's Corvette. Just tell Charlie Bernard sent you, super nice guy.
