Default So who amongst us is going to the 3/15 & 3/16 DE at SP?

Anybody else in for the March DE at SP? Sounds like right now it is myself, Tony and Bill but I'm hoping there are a few others who will be joining us.

For anybody that is in what do we say to a caravan out there and a common pit set-up ?

I should check on whether or not PCA Potomac needs corner workers for this DE. If so, I may see you guys out there.

I just found out that PCA Potomac doesn't need any help so I won't be there. Have fun and I'm looking forward to hearing all of your "war stories". 8)

Jim,
Come out anyway - soak up some of the atmosphere, and maybe even take some video of the green group which you can trade for favors later

Potomac uses Summit's corner workers. In fact, most PCA regions do this now. Some regions have work assignments for all DE participants, which usually means gate duty or pit duty. I think its a good idea, but Potomac does not do it now. I think they used to in the past, but not sure on that - certainly before my time.

If anyone is interested in placing a mini on-board cam in their ride let me know. I've been itching to fabricate one

Only caveat, you'll need to supply the camcorder (which will be placed under the seat, out of harms way). I can fabricate and help set up before the event.

Default Any excuse for a drive!

Jim,
I was thinking about going out to watch for a little while on one of the days. Who knows, might turn into a mini fun run. If anybody else is interested let me know. Might be fun to heckle the drivers from the side lines.

Ted, that's an excellent thought. Then we'll have "war stories" to tell about them.

Oh yeah, we can make the drive up to Summitt Point interesting with some twisty side roads.

Charlie - that's quite an offer. I'll send you a PM with my office # and if you get a chance, give me a call tomorrow so we can discuss. Thanks.

Jim & Ted - if you don't laugh and point at us while we are on the track we might just let you into our pit area No better excuse to drive then to a track so hopefully we'll see you there.
