Mid Ohio 3 day Potomac DE May 10-12
Potomac's Mid Ohio event is a month away!
This track is considered one of the most challenging race courses in all of the United States. Personally I love it because it has so many unique corners that really test your abilities and tends to reward skill over power or car. The racing history alone is worth the trip to this beautiful destination. We've worked hard to keep the cost down to help offset the travel expense; $375 for three days on a Grand AM race track! Yes, it's the longest haul on our schedule but not as far as you might think. Last year I made it home (just north of Baltimore), without far exceeding the speed limit, in 6 1/2 hours taking the PA Turnpike route. VIR, for example, take me about 5hrs 15min. As noted on a earlier thread from this year, the Caymanregister.org has chosen this event as one of their gatherings. So if you own a Cayman, there's an added incentive. GREAT track. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this year (for the DE, but I'm planning to driving in the Club Race!).
Yes, it's pretty far away. And lots of people hold off going due to that distance, but once they go once, they try to go every year.

Just signed up! Still some room in Blue and Green but the others a filling fast. Very fun track and a great road trip if you approach it w/the right frame of mind.
PCAP handles registration for garages; volunteers and instructors get 1st choice

actually, i just realized mine is still "pending review" despite the fact that i signed up over a month ago. is anyone else's like this? (before i shoot off some emails to the appropriate authorities)
