Default Dealer sticker removal tips?

While I have been AWOL from the track this season I did pick up an SUV (2011 GMC Acadia SLT-2) and want to get the dealer's sticker off the back. It is the clear plastic style. Before I butcher this I wanted to see if there are any tips/tricks? I was thinking of using a hair dryer to heat up the glue before peeling off but thought I would ask the Dorkidom first. While we are were the sole remaining family in 'merica whom have never owned a minivan nor SUV we had to take the plunge for carpool to TJ for my son. Clearly Mom's IQ.

BTW, as luck would have it, it came equipped with a factory tow package of 5200 pounds, not super duty but I think it could work yeah know, just in case down the road.

I usually have good success in removing all types of stickers off vehicles with a heat gun. Sometimes a little "GoofOff" remover helps to remove the residue.

My son has had an Acadia for a few years and likes it very much. They have three small boys.

Ask the dealer to remove it. The guys who apply those also know the tricks to removing them cleanly. I've only bought two cars from a dealership before, but both times I asked them to remove the sticker before they give me the keys.

I did ask for it to be removed and silly me actually thought they would do as I asked.

These days you sign paper all day long. My type A (minus) personality was starting to show. The good news is we have had runs to Deep Creek Lake, Charlottsville and now NY soon with it and the only thing I am 'complaining' about is a sticker so no problem.

i removed the hard plastic dealer sticker on the back of my car. used dental floss to cut it off and then cleaned off the glue. took it back to the dealer for warranty work and they put a brand new sticker on while it was in their shop. i'm going to send them a bill for advertising.
