I have had my Spyder for about 2 months now and on two occasions I have had a very large cloud of blue smoke come from the exhaust. Oddly enough it has happened in the same parking spot where I park at work. The spot has a pretty severe slope forward and to the left and am wondering if that would have anything to do with it. It's never happened in the garage or any other place or that matter. Not sure how concerned I should be.

How much have you been driving it when you saw that smoke? My boxster does the same thing if it's left sitting for a week or two. Within the first minute or so the puff of smoke should cease. This is normal for a boxster.

I drove it to work and parked it so it certainly wasn't sitting either time.

Its fine. My RS will blow smoke at startup sometimes after only sitting for a couple hours.

that only happens on T5 of Jefferson circuit at SP. Trust me!

I get "some" smoke with our dfi Cayman but not a large cloud. Usually after its been sitting for awhile.

Car is under warranty. Just don't want to argue with them and get the old " Oh that's normal for that car "
