Just wanted to give a shout out to our own Vicegrip. It was nice to finally meet him and he was a huge help getting my Box talking to me again. (Bad immobilizer). The folks at Porsche of Tysons were awesomely nice as well.
Thanks Kurt, for all your help!

Porsche of Tysons is the good guy here. They took the time and had the smarts to work on the old soggy immobilizer box and were able to get enough life back into it to beat the key codes out of it. (I think they water boarded it first and then pulled a diode or two out with pliers before it ratted) They used this data to program the new box to the existing key so everything ended up working right.

He certainly is my hero! Burned those bushing bolts to smithereens on my old Cadillac. Saved me tons of time, and taught me how easy it was to fill in metal.
The best part of Kurt helping me was me learning from the master. Give a man a fish and he is satisfied for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry.

Teach a man to fish and he will drink beer all day.
