Default WTBorrow: Engine Stand and Yoke

Hello Dorkis,
I'm dropping the 3.6 from my 993 and am looking for an engine stand and yoke to borrow or rent from someone in NoVA area. I will need it from Dec to Feb/Mar.
thanks,
Don

I'm not close to Casanova, but let me suggest the following - BUY the stand, and either buy the adaptor ring, buy a good adaptor, or borrow one. Engine stands are very inexpensive. They're also available used, and you might pick one up with the adaptor ring, too.

You are welcome to borrow mine. I won't be needing it for a while,
since the visa center/state dept have just thrown more crap in my way to getting my visa that they said 3 months ago was approved and would only be 30 more days. Go figure.
Pick up in D.C.- N.W.

I also have a stand, yoke and ATV jack for getting the engine out from under. Willing to lend until spring or so with no problems. I am in Kensington, MD.

Hey, thanks for the offer but I wound up finding a very good deal for the stand and yoke and ended up buying them.

If the yoke is repeatable you should prolly post the source for the collective.

Both pieces on ebay, easy to find with search. $45 for the stand and $85 for the yoke, both new and repeatable. Yoke doesn't have guide holes drilled , but otherwise seems ok.
