I store my car for 3-4 months, heated garage. Fill it up with premium and add sta-bil fuel.
A local station carries ethanol free 89 octane gas(same price as premium). Is it worth it to put the lower grade gas/ethanol free(w/sta-bil fuel) for winter storage? Did it in my lawn weapons, but the storage time is even longer on those. Just curious. I usually prescribe to the if ain't broke philosophy, but thought it worth asking the question........

Do 964's have knock sensors? If so, I would think that it's safe to use the lower octane ethanol-free stuff. I know 3.2 Carrera's and earlier do not have knock sensors, so the high octane fuel is a hard requirement for those cars.
