You missed some promotions! Congratulations!!

I actually tried to relax a little during my second session today (after all, it's the 3rd day of a 3-day event) but then I saw a newly promoted Black-run-group driver ahead of me, and set my PB making damn sure I passed him...just under 2:22.5. Nadir tells me I suck.

Towing home I also set a PB (well, Ben helped). See photo below [edit: that is our mileage as we pulled into home - to be honest, we got 15.5 from the Glen to Williamsport, filled up in Williamsport (also filled the P-car at $3.83 for premium Gulf) and that's the mileage from Williamsport to home]:

Thanks to the Daves for tech, the white-haired guys for CI duty, Ben for enjoying it with me, the "social committee" for a really well done evening last night, the InstantG folks for the Gin & Tonics (and our club President for the beer - not that I drink all that much). Jamie my student for doing really well in blue, and everyone else for making this a great weekend.

I had a great time but a minor mechanical issue ended the fun on Sunday earlier than planned. I also didn't realize how rusty I had become after being off the track track for 1.5 years.

Thanks to those who offered to help me get to the track (Dr. K, TR) and those who helped ensure I got back home (Nader, Dr.K, TR, VASteve, Tony P, etc).

I also lost count of how many times I got lapped by Ryan and Brian. Those GT whatevers are kinda quick....

Oops, also forgot to thank Dan D for riding with me and helping to hone my skills, and for Bob M for riding with Ben. He asked Ben (after multiple people gave him the sign of the cross) "do you always get this much $#it?"

WG was even better than advertised. Awesome track in a really nice location, so nice that my wife has already agreed that it's ok to come back next year. A big thanks to all who made the event happen, and thanks to David Diquolla for the great instruction despite the fact that my car's dashboard attacked him (hope your knee feels better, Dave). It was really nice to meet Jerome951 and BobNovas at dinner, and several others whose dorki tags I don't remember.

I am always happy to motivate. Make sure TR with you to the WG CR next year if you do not want to finish last in E. I can motivate two in one post

I'll try, but even if I'm seconds faster per lap I can lose through off-track excursions (I learned that lesson my first race weekend with NASA at VIR).
