Hello, i trying to fix small problems one by one, replaced the ignition switch, received the calipers rebuild kits today...
After riding for 40 minutes saturday, the car would not crank when i turned the key, instead of cranking (switch on cranking position) i could hear the fuel pump. And then 2 hours later the car started right up. When for a 5 minute ride and no problem, this is the same problem that happen to me before i replace the ignition switch. What could be the cause? Thank you |

Starter benix gets hot and sticks. Remove and replace/rebuild starter after testing that you are getting full power to it. Look at the connections, large and small, to the starter.
i have been able to take the starter solenoid apart lightly sand, clean and coat the plunger with a thin film of high grab lube and have the starter work fine after.
