Default Lazy man engine pull

not in any hurry. Today (12/27/09) made the first steps to remove the engine in Michelle's 87 Carrera to reseal the cam towers which are leakin/seeping oil, by clearing the lift. The black car is in the shed, the blue car behind the lift. Tues I will bring the Carrera over and put it on the lift and drain the oil. On Wed (or so) I'll start pulling stuff. Step by miss step progress will be documented here.

Wink

Mis-leading title of the thread. I thought a lazy man engine pull was to take out the plastic....

The lift is a Bend Pak MD-6XP. I have the same one in my garage. It's a Mid-Rise scissors lift with a capacity of 6000 lbs. As for install, there's virtually none as you can move it around with the use of the dolly which the pump is mounted on. However, there is some assembly required. I just did a quick Google search and found prices between $1845 and $2250. I'm sure you can shop around to find someone who wants to move some stock. Be sure to include shipping (and possibly "Home Delivery")
