I had Charlie Clark as my instructor last weekend at VIR during the PCC-ACNA DE. Enjoyed riding with him, and he helped me get through 14 - 17a quicker. I actually got more comfortable carrying a little more speed going up the Upper Esses as well.

Day 1, first session: (ACNA Blue Group), conservative pace since the track was still wet. There was a car several cars ahead of us that dumped coolant in the braking zone at the end of the front straight. I've never experienced hitting oil / coolant on track before. Now I know.

x2. Though you were going straight pretty well but then appeared to TURN left and then spun (steering away from the tire wall even though its pretty far away?). Lotta bumps and dips out there in them fields. Getting sideways can put a car on its lid even at pretty slow speeds.
