Default Local Bilstein Damptronics installer needed

Hey there. This is my first post here (obviously). I got my 2007 C4S in January. Since then, I've done all kinds of fun PCA events. The april HPDC, 3 days at the Glen, the Camp Friendship rally, the MD brunches... I've met some of you on here, and look forward to meeting more of you at the Fest this weekend.

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting Bilstein Damptronics on the car. Can anyone recommend an installer in the area who typically does Damptronics? I know it's not rocket science, but I'd like to go with someone who has experience with these already, so we don't have to figure them out together, if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know any shop, but AFAIK Damptronic shocks are plug-and-play with the factory electronic controls, so should be easy for any that services 997s.

Just as any performance shock/spring install, it's most important to have a shop who knows how to set it up (alignment / ride height / corner balance) to suit your car and your experience level.

Also, 997s already have excellent suspension from the factory, you may want to prioritize other upgrades first (e.g. racing seats, harnesses, tires).

I'm not familiar with the Damptronic technology.....

But traditional on this board is to properly Introduce Yourself (use this thread: http://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showthread.php?t=13610 ). Also consider adding a signature in your Profile, with at least your first name, and cars in the stable. Introductions with pics always earn more cred' too.

Talk with Mike Levitas, Turbo Performance Center in Jessup (http://www.tpcracing.us/). He's a true expert, and mentioned during a suspension set-up lecture, how great the stock 997S suspension is.
