June 20 Tech Session for Watkins Glen Event
FREE DOUGHNUTS!!!!!!!!! Are you participating in the Drives Ed event at Watkins Glen on June 26 - 28? Are you new to Porsches, and would like to learn more about your car? Do you like eating free doughnuts and drinking free coffee while watching other people work? Are you new to the DC area, and looking for a shop to service your Porsche? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then we’ve got something for you! Come join PCA Potomac’s fabulous Tech Inspection crew this Saturday (June 20) at Intersport in McLean for the Watkins Glen tech inspection session! Enjoy the scenic country drive to beautiful McLean, Virginia. Take in the breathtaking mountain views and spectacular scenery as you slowly parade down Northern Virginia’s own Leesburg Pike on a glorious spring day! And as an added bonus, you’ll get to discover answers to questions that have puzzled experts for years, such as: will the doughnuts be better then the ones Ivan Arzola/ IMA imported from Culpepper? Will the pizza be better then the homemade ones Jose Herzog’s family made for us at Autobahn? Will there be a grill bursting with sausages and burgers like IMA and Porsche of Arlington supplied? Be the first to correctly answer all of these questions, and you will receive a FREE, no-cost inspection for your Porsche! So come on out to Intersport this Saturday, and allow yourself to be spoiled by our hosts Charlie Murphy and Omar Hilmi. And as an added bonus, get expert advice on your 944 from renown 944 expert Charlie Murphy (that is, if your 944 actually runs and you can get it to the shop…)! As always, the Tech Inspection is open to all Club members, even those who are not registered for the DE event. So be the envy of your friends, and come spend the morning hobnobbing with a bunch of Porsche owners! Please note the BMW Club will be sharing the garage starting late in the morning. So if you need your car to be inspected, try to arrive by 11:30 am. As always, we will be open until 2:00 pm, and all cars that arrive by 1:30 pm will be accepted, but we will be short on lifts in the early afternoon. McLean is beautiful? hmmm (especially Tysons & Tyco Rd)
 What all would go down on the tech inspection? Already conscious of some issues that are more matters of convenience and not of potential mechanical failure. I need to put on weight...free donuts would help.

Ahhh...I love it when new blood takes over. All the seeming boredom and monotony of writing an exciting sounding tech promo is just blown away at once. Even managed to weave a not very inconspicious 944 slam in there. Nice work.
