Zoiks!!!! Sorry to see. Call me when you start fixing that, since I need to replace the pads or whatever on mine this winter.

Steve pads are a piece of cake, Tony on the other hand..........................really does need to address that peeling paint issue.

I've done a "little" reading on it...I'm sure I can handle it. I'd call you to assist but by then you'd be certifiable...uh, certified and probably have signed the non-compete.

Not 100% sure what caused it yet, but guessing the cheap plastic shim gave up the ghost. It happened last week while trying to start the car in the garage. Turned over with a strange lope.....guessing some valves are also bent, and probably more.

Trailered it to the shop this morning. They still have the motor from my 1st 944S2 which was wrecked several years ago. We're having that head pressure tested to see if its ok (that motor had oil into the water leak, suspected to be porous block issue). If that head checks out, we should be able to simply swap, after updating a few key parts.

This has been a tough couple of months for our fo-fo's.....
