I think this one is still capable of breeding. Maybe not any time in the few hours following the smash, but unfortunately, after that, things should be in good working order. A female mouth breather may come along, see his war wounds, and then volunteer to help soothe his wounds, thereby leading into, well...you should know what happens from there.
