I'll second Tony's recommendation. I just bought the LiIon battery version and love it.

Several friends own the IR gun, and I've been impressed with it for a while...especially for the money. Another friend just took the plunge on one of the newest models out there, the CP. It has been totally redesigned, and looks/feels great (I think it used to be a rebadged Milwaukee). It hasn't gotten a full workout yet, but initial impression is very good...and time will tell for sure. If you are looking at the IR, give this one a look.

Snap-On CT4850HO 1/2 inch. Love it, got to have it. A battery charge will usually last all day, sometimes two in the shop. It is worth every $$$

i have the Snap-On. When the battery craps I will get the IR gun rather than spend Sn(tr)ap On's gouge of $150+ for the battery.

Gents with the IR or other brands can you break the lugs free when fully torqued on the wheel? What do you torque your wheels to?

The Snap On will do but I want to make sure the others will as well.
