Default Good general discussion on Shocks / function

There always seems to be a lot of talk about sending "my bilsteins to XXX tuner b/c they have special valving and know what they are doing and I don't have a clue".

In light of that ... Chuck Moreland [elephant racing], Ed Lopresti and others have taken the time to put together some informative posts / threads on PP regarding Bilstein valving, what is going on at Bilstein [engineer passing] and Koni Red and Yellow valving and what you can do with it [adjustments to compression & rebound].

In case you missed these on the PP racing forum:

Bilstein RSR valving Q thread

Shock thread by Ed

Some good, basic info here.

Another good thread on anti-sway bars and "How stable is your roll center?"

For those of you doing DE / Racing ... these are good "primers" to think about what you can work on "out there" next track season.
