Just came back from the NASA event. Track is smooth and somewhat greasy. Lots of tire squeal, little wear. They have partially covered the curbing in various places. Most notable for me was at the exit of turn 3. Where the pavement ends is now dirt and and gravel, lots of which gets thrown onto the track by the race groups when they inevitably run off in the heat of battle.
My impression: track is much smoother, some of the dips have been reduced and I hope they put exit curbing back in where its been paved over. Also, no paint as of yet: stripes, braking markers.

Sweet -- no brake markers at T1. When they put them back, I hope they add an extra one or two, so it will seem like I've improved and can now 'go deeper'
p.s. -- you need to update your signature line...

Brake markers where set up as sets of cones on the side of the track at good locations. |
