Default Noobie Question… Help Electrical issues 1979 930

Hello all,

I have a 79 930 with some serious electrical issues, no Windows no AC and no wipers and that is all I have found right now.:XX I am looking for a local shop to help me sort these issues. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Call Matt @ SPE in Gaithersburg. 301-948-6762. He knows the older cars very well and is great with electricals.

Dumb question - have you checked the fuses?

X2

and ... take a moment to introduce yourself in this thread.

You'll get more help / answers that actually have some merit and perhaps make a few online p-car friends.

Your screen name looked familiar; it's nice to see that you have found your way from Rennlist to this site...

I forgot to put the shops I would recommend:

Matt de Maria at Stuttgart Performance in Gaithersburg
At Speed Motorsports in Elkridge, Lucas or Mike at this shop
Ralph's Automotive in Owings Mills
Genaday at GT Performance in Northern Baltimore

You can't go wrong with any of them...

Stop.....Before you call....Did you do the typical troubleshooting...Fuse...grounding..Relay's, Volt meter to see about if you have juice...missing connection to the battery etc...Get a bentley's manual...PM me I do have the electrical layout for this car...Believe me I have played with electrical issues with this beast...Which wiper...If it is rear...That motor sometimes need the connectors scrubbed...and vice versa for the rest...

cracked fuse box...This will create many issues...Connectors not connecting properly

Are you new to this car

Fill us in with more detail..So many questions soooooo little time....
