The bearing thread reminded me of a score made some time ago and have been meaning to share. Moble synthetic grease. The high $ blue stuff. Good for what ails ya, bearings, CVs and the like. This Sat 8 am to 3 pm you bring a one quart plastic Tupperware type container you leave with a quart of the stuff. Worry not about my running out before you get some there is plenty…
Pick a good container that can be opened and closed easily and seals well as a crappy one will split and leak or let the grease get contaminated. Use it at your own risk. You go home and slip on it or get it in you ear or worse don't call me.:XX No Peter it is not medical grade. |

For CV boot replacement too? I'll get some on Sat when I get the other stuff from you. That is great. That was going to by my "while I was in there" project of replacing my cracked cv boot.
Thanks Kurt

Works great but you can leave the bucket for car washing. You would be suprised how far a quart or two goes.

There is plenty more. I will set up another "stop by and load up" day if there is interest.

For you, One Millyin Dollars.... How much you want and when you want it? BTW your salvage brake MC was just the ticket. Thanks again!
Large mouth containers only please. It is sticky stringy stuff and almost impossible to decant into small diameter containers. Stupid is as Stupid does moment on Sat. Was getting the T bars for Pooki and also calling in a pizza and walking under the project car all at once and ran my head right into one of the frame legs, full speed with no brake lights. Went down in a pile with a small cut in the top of my head and eyes that went out of focus for 30 seconds or so. Would not be stupid by itself but for the fact that I ran into one of the legs 3 weeks ago also cutting my head. I put some red tape on the legs to highlight them but they does not work when you are not looking. |
