Addicted to Dorkiphus
The recent outage of Blackberry service led to "withdrawal" symptoms for many "Crackberry" users, and several of us on this board were more than just frustrated with the board was down for 2 days a few weeks ago. It's now Saturday evening, and I'm one of several on the board instead of having a life (well, I happen to know that Bill Miller has 10 times as many things on his social schedule as I do, so he probably just left his computer logged in while he attends some gala dinner...). Yes, I admit, I'm addicted to Dorkiphus. I'm a minimal D-I-Y'er who's learning slowly, but I can't do without the banter.
I'm on another (HiFi) board where users have never met one another, and occasionally get very insulting and caustic in a personal way with people they've never met. One of the things I like about Dorkiphus is that we get very insulting and caustic in a personal way with people we know well.  So, who is willing to admit they're addicted to Dorkiphus? Perhaps we should make this a survey: 1) I'm not addicted to Dorkiphus. I can quit any time. 2) I'm addicted to Dorkiphus. My favorite thing is insulting TD 3) I'm addicted to Dorkiphus. My favorite thing is reading posts by others insulting TD 4) I'm addicted to Dorkiphus. I have a thing about shoes. (I expect at least one response to this one) 5) I'm addicted to Dorkiphus. I really read it just for the D-I-Y help 6) I drive a Boxster, so who cares

First, no one with a Prius in their garage should be picking on anyone else's car  Second, I'm on my anniversary trip and I am checking in on Dorki 3 times a day so I'd say I'm addicted.

But, where else can I get a chance to take a shot at DR, PK, as well as TD. I CAN give this up. I did so for an hour or so today. Who the hell is Silver Streak? ARF
