Default Steel Wheel date code

Is this a date code on my Toyota steel wheels saying they were manufactured in 2005, or maybe 2008? Stamping says made in Mexico.

Sure looks like a date code. Are these from your 2013 FRS or something else?

Agree / suggest it is a YY-MM-DD arrangement.

Full story: Dirk's Street Survival student from 9 years ago drove her youngest sister's 2004 Sienna (against the wishes of her younger sister) and managed to bend two steel wheels. Mr. Tire in Mt. Airy tried to fix them, but they wouldn't hold air. I bought two new ones from them; their supplier struggled to deliver.

Then Mr. Tire said they got some from a different supplier and the wheels were ready. They gave me used wheels....I was just wondering how old were they.

Mr. Tire got back with me yesterday and have new ones to switch them to now.

Sounds like Mr. Tire is giving some service, pretty aggressive driving at a Street Survival to bend 2 wheels, but better there than on the street!! Recent TRSS as not at Potomacs couple weeks ago!

Dirk - the Street Survival event I was referring to was nine years ago.......she did bend them on the street. Used a bit to much "curbing" on the inside of a turn.

But, she did not overreact to the hit and pulled over safely.

Ah, she remembered my excellent instruction, Good for her, the reaction to an incident is often compounding the incident!
