I believe the color of that SC shown is "wine red metallic." That's a beautiful color and was the color of my first Porsche ('82 SC, purchased in '86).

Close, it's actually ruby red metallic on my '83 911SC Targa--was only available '83 and '84 on the 911. Both are great colors but Wine Red is more rare...
