WTB Master Brake Cylinder
I am in need of a replacement, new, used, rebuilt master brake cylinder for my 1990 911 C2. The part number needed is 964-355-01503 and runs from 1989-1994 and only for a C2 not C4. They are in short supply and would appreciate any help locating one.
Thank you.

Why not rebuild the one you have?

There are no rebuild kits available. I know it doesn't sound correct but it is true. I touched base with the local gurus as well. If one Googles the part number for new, rebuilt, trade or kit you will find ads and can load in carts but no one has any including Porsche in US or Germany.
My unit does work per se, it never went to the floor but the pedal is lower and getting spongey. Would it pass tech, yes, but it is simply at the point I want it perfected hence, it doesn't pass my tech. Absent getting lucky and finding one from a car who might have had a mishap on track, there are a couple of ways to go. First, I can replace the system with 993 gear; master, booster, etc which would probably work well with my big brakes however, if I ever did CR that could be an issue and even if not and changed to the standard size brakes to stay in G, I would have to assume the 993 system would make the brakes difficult to modulate with the smaller (standard) brakes. Second, I can take a friend up on his assistance to re-engineer the seals in the master for me. The master has been removed and broken down which is how I know a seal is going bad causing the low/spongey pedal. The joys of an older car.....although new cars brake too.
