Default Wiring Question -996

I am in the middle of a project to clean up the wiring in the race car -remove all of the unnecessary wiring and organize and clean up everything else for easier access.

Trying to figure out how to remove unused wires from the fuse and relay panels. I cut them close to the back of the panels but prefer to remove the pins themselves to prevent any electrical issues. How do I get the pins to release from the panels? Did some googling but cant find the answer.

Not sure what connectors Porsche is using in the 996 fuse box, but you typically need to get a set of terminal extractors to push in the little clips that are holding the terminals into the box. Something like this:

or this:

It's the side with the wire attached. The clips prevent the lugs from pulling out the front. When you release the clip, you pull the lug out the front.

I have the same extractors Jazz linked above. They work well even though they are inexpensive. I have attached a couple of pics showing the lugs of a JPT terminal that is used on several of the Bosch connectors and the tool used to release them. Not exactly what you are looking for but the Kompakt connectors release from the plug end.

I also purchased an Iwiss terminal tool from Amazon that works well. I did some practice runs with spare terminals...first couple didn't turn out great but after about 5 runs I got the feel of the tool and was able to make a great looking crimp.
