Good lord Kurt, you aren't going to run that thing on the track without a sunroof are you? How will the car reach it's full potetial. And you do realize that thing will never conform to the track with all of that bracing.

Nice work Kurt.

I especially like the curved piece on the driver's side floor reinforcing the F L footwell.

I have seen the aftermath of several crashes where the F L suspension gets pushed into the footwell and crushes feet / breaks ankles. Happened to friends driving the Tiger car -Exxon Superflo 993 cup a couple of years ago. Not a pretty site.

*Bonus: CF dash [if any] and custom / personalize steering column height for you / your seat / your driving position. We did this on our '73 IROC. Subtle difference but much appreciated correct ergonomics during 3 hour enduros

With that big open non-firewall there's gonna be plenty of AC in March and plenty of heat in August

Looks good, Kurt.

It is a work of art and very light. Doubt it will be ready any time soon, and I am torn between wanting him to finish it quickly so he can enjoy (he certainly deserves it) and wanting him never to finish it so that he keeps driving the 912 and I can have someone to harass in black!

TD:

When you get a new cage in your '44 [b/c you love yours so much] think about the footwell brace idea ... [even if you don't get a new cage ]
