That really does look fantastic. Even finding the same manufacturer and color of the siding, I was amazed it matched as well as it did. Usually 10 years of UV fading will render the original as unmatchable. I was greatly tempted to do the electrical hookup on my own on my detatched garage as well. Would have saved some big $$. But in the end decided getting that signed permit from the county was the wise choice, should someone question the validity of the building inthe future, so I called in a licensed contractor to bring power from my house to the garage. Congratulations on a sweet looking addition. When you going to have the Dorkis over for a proper christening?

Thanks. In Loudoun, I had pulled the electrical permit and did the work my self. The inspector came and approved my rough-in inspection and just recently approved the final electrical inspection also.

Good to hear there are still reasonable people and rule in government. Montgomery County, in its bid to protect us from ourselves, requires a licensed electrician to pull the electrical permit.

Nicely done. FYI - Costco price drop on the LEDs from 7/7 to 7/31 $23.99/ea.

Put my order in for a lift today. I ordered the Bendpak XPR-10A-LP and they told me it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery. Currently there is a 1 foot difference in the grade at the entrance of the new garage. Hope to have the driveway graded and asphalt done by then.

Nice lift, I'm happy with mine. One thing to keep an eye on is the safety release. Its taking me a little while to get comfortable with the setup and I need to adjust the cable again.

Hmm. I not sure if I understand. Is it a problem with the setup. If I remember, you can release both sides together, right?

My neighbor has a Challenger and he has to goto each post to release the lock. A little annoying...
