Hey all, just picked up a 2002 track prepped 996 and this is my first P-car. Looking forward to learning a lot about it. Special thanks to SDubs for helping me pre and post purchase.

Glad to be on board, y'all. Thanks for the warm welcome. My wife and I very much miss our days at the track with all the good people and fun we have. If only we could set up at-the-track childcare...we'd be set.

Introduction
Hi all, My name is Jeff and I live in Fairfax. As a kid I grew up around Porsches and knew some day I'd own one. Well many years later it finally happened. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a '97 993 C2. Looking forward to meeting other owners in the area.
I've been interested in racing as far back as I can remember. In the 90s I ran an old formula ford regionally with the SCCA and now I have an E36 M3 that has become a track day/auto-x car. For now my plans are to keep the car as is and enjoy driving it. I can't wait for the weather to improve to start getting a few miles behind the wheel. --Jeff
