Advanced DE Drivers:

Still plenty of room left in the Zone 2 Club Race coming up June 22-24. Lots of track time for the HPDE drivers. Sessions are in between the big Club Race sessions over three days. Black and Red or equivalent drivers only with experience in expanded passing.

Come join the familiar organizing team that just hosted the big PCA FSR VIR event this past weekend.

Not a Racer or DE driver and want to get involved? We are still looking for a few volunteers. No experience necessary. Stipends/rooms, event swag, and Friday Happy Hour, Saturday banquet included.

Just want to be a spectator? Come on down--be sure to tell the VIR gate attendant you are with PCA so they do not charge you spectator fees--just be sure to sign in at PCA event registration and get a wrist band (otherwise I'll have to chase you down!)

Registration was opened back up last night on Clunbregistration.net at the request of some of our local Dorkis who somehow missed it during the normal registration period. It is now open for another hour or so at the latest.

Otherwise--you'll make me go through the lengthy process of at the track registration with no guarantees that the stewards and T&S will approve in time.

Also--we will allow walk-in registrations for the DE at either a daily rate or a two day rate. We even have one of the Club racers that is airing a car with his daughter taking advantage of the extra track time.

If anyone wants to come down and volunteer or just hang out and watch please ensure you tell the VIR gate guard you are with the PCA event so they do not charge you the spectator fee. Then come see me in registration so we can make you legal as far as PCA goes by banding you and having the PCA waiver signed. We will have parade laps daily at lunch so bring your family and show them this awesome track from a windshield view.

We'll be discussing options during the event. Have to see what VIR has available (if anything, as you know they have waiting lists for renters). I know the Lime Rock PCA Club Race people would prefer something warmer and we would prefer something cooler but we have that pesky detail of track rental to work out (as well as deconfliction with many other race weekends). We'll look at all options though and hopefully come up with something for the future. As always--inputs and any helpful influence are always accepted.

Its also a Zone 2 event--worth looking in to, but is it too close to another east coast PCA CR event?
