Yeah, I posted them in the opening thread post. 2 parts: Part 1 is the VA work, Part 2 is the beginning of the CA work. Lots of pictures.

Here are some pictures of the new NOS front fenders and nose being fitted to the car after Kent corrected all of the existing damage. Now when you see the seam sealer in the headlight buckets, don't freak out. That is just the way the factory put it on. So that was how Kent did it.

Also in the trunk floor Scotty made and installed the louvered panel to allow the oil cooler to vent hot air out under the car. Scott did a nice job making that panel. All Kent had to do was clean up the welds and then remove the rust.

This aluminum oil cooler shroud was made by Scotty and is a nice piece; we will modify it a bit and use it. It was modeled on the fiberglass GT reproductions available.

Because of the GT style oil cooler being installed in the front trunk, we will be mounting a space-saver spare on a deep six wheel and it will mount vertically against the bulkhead. That mount was custom made by Kent and looks like I believe it would if Porsche designed it. Here is a mock up with a correct sized wheel and space saver, although not a deep six rim.

So my car was media blasted in VA and when we got it to CA and saw how the one quarter panel was attached, it was low in the rear and wide by about 1/4", we decided to replace the entire panel. Thankfully we made that call because when the quarter panel came off we found about 1 pound of sand trapped between the sail panel and the inner sail panel, with rust. Just a matter of time before that reared its ugly head.

i know NOTHING about bodywork or even 914s for that matter, but i absolutely love (what is obviously) extreme attention to detail on stuff like this. cannot wait to see the finished product!
