Limited torque on my base Cayman mainly seems to obviate the need for a limited slip, although when the inside wheels are unloaded under hard cornering (e.g. Oak Tree) they can break loose.

Yes... but are you looking for a Mechanical unit or a brake unit?

I've had cars with and without. Without can make things fun for your audience as an inside wheel spins uselessly.. With can make it fun for you to actually get out of corners. Mechanical unit will wear and need replacement, so another wear item

How much power and how much you want to use also comes into play.

Jacksonville? - home of Brumos?

Looking at a 981 or 982 there is an option for a mechanical LSD with “Porsche torque vectoring.” The PTV I believe is done with braking.

I had seen a Cayman R advertised by a dealer in Jacksonville. Not Brumos. I don’t see that car now.

There is one - let's call it optimistically priced - R on PCA's mart.

$86K. Well, I won't be the buyer.

Asking price and selling price aren't necessarily related... I notice a couple of 981s with track mods listed, but also $$.
