PorscheFest without the Fest - July 31-August 2
After a successful Mid-July Summit HPDE, Potomac is excited to return to Summit Point Main track for our annual PorscheFest on July 31 - August 2.
Registration for the DE is now open: www.motorsportreg.com/events/potomacs-porschefest-de-summit-point-circuit-pca-potomac-founders-091088 Registration for the Autocross is now open: www.motorsportreg.com/events/pca-potomac-autocross-2-summit-point-raceway-founders-947555 As it stands as of today 7/13/20, we WILL be moving forward with students at this DE event. Also, like the Pitt Race and Mid-July events, both the autocross and DE events will be limited to drivers, volunteers and essential crew only. EVERY PERSON who fits into this category MUST MUST MUST sign in to our MotorsportReg system and register. This allows for contactless registration, including the digital signing of the necessary two waivers, as well as a precise count of the number of people in our paddock areas in order to maintain appropriate social distancing protocols and maintain an acceptable density. We do have a limited number of volunteer positions available. If you are interested, please send an email to covid19@pcapotomac.org. Several items of disappointing news due to COVID-19: Our Drive & Dine and Concours programs will not be in attendance. We will not be having our happy hours or our BBQ dinner either as we need to strictly limit the number of contact points at the event. Some of the good points: We will continue with the contactless Tech and Registration, pre-ordering capabilities of lunch box options, advanced student/instructor pairing, as well as many other COVID-19 protocols which were implemented at our prior events. We look forward to seeing you at our 2020 Porsche(Fest) event at Summit Point Motorsports Park.
